Yve and Jean welcome you to the Old House Upholstery web site. We have both worked and run upholstery and soft furnishing businesses for over 30 years and decided to join forces to put our experiences together under one roof.
Old House Upholstery is situated in a beautiful Georgian house in Launceston, the ancient capital of Cornwall right on the border of Devon, close to Dartmoor and 20 miles from the North and South coasts.
Our business provides our many customers with professional hand made curtains, with hand pleated headings, many styles of tie backs, different shaped pelmets and valances, blinds, cushions, fitted loose covers, bedding and traditional and modern upholstery, all tailored to your individual needs. We are happy to call on you to discuss and measure for your requirements.
We carry an interesting selection of fabrics with trimmings, beadings and tassels to compliment your choice of fabric, or we will work with your own.
Courses are available in all the above for the enthusiast, no matter what your knowledge, from the beginner upwards. These will be small classes to allow for individual tuition.
